Primordial Shamanism - Transmission 0
Establishing Context and Cosmology for Contemporary Practice
One of the largest gaps in contemporary shamanic practice is a lack of a coherent cosmology and context to ‘hold’ the practices one engages with. This in turn presents a ‘form’ with no underlying ‘juice’.
This section helps to begin establishing a context (which will be fleshed out more as the course progresses), for practice. Without it, you will only ever have a disjointed, fragmented and decontextualized set of skills, that while maybe helpful, will not ‘take you all the way home’.
A large part of Shamanism is ‘technical’. But technical skill alone, is not enough. One requires the essence understanding that is not something people can teach you, but that you must learn directly from spirits, nature and soul.
